Effective 28.05.2026
Introduction
bghub.org (“we” or “us”) values its visitors’ privacy. This privacy policy summarizes what information we collect from a registered user or other visitor (“you”), and what we will and will not do with it. This privacy policy does not govern the collection and use of information by services that bghub.org does not control. If you visit a web site that we mention or link to, be sure to review its privacy policy before providing it with information.
Signing in with Google
You sign in to bghub.org using your Google account. We do not store passwords. When you sign in, Google shares a basic profile with us — your name, email address, and profile picture — which we use to create and identify your account. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings.
What we do with your information
“Personally identifiable information” means information that can be used to identify you as an individual. On bghub.org this includes, for example:
- your name
- email address
- profile picture
- user ID
- any account-preference information you provide us
- your computer’s IP address, indicating roughly where your computer is located on the Internet
- session data for your login session, so that our server can keep you signed in
If you provide personally identifiable information to us, we will:
- not sell or rent it to a third party;
- take commercially reasonable precautions to protect the information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction;
- not use or disclose the information except:
- as necessary to provide the features you use, such as displaying your sessions, ratings and collection;
- in other ways described in this privacy policy or to which you have otherwise consented;
- in the aggregate, in a way that does not identify you personally (for example, site-wide statistics);
- as required by law, for example, in response to a subpoena or court order;
- as necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of bghub.org, its users, or others.
Public information
Some of what you create on bghub.org is public by design — for example your hub, sessions and collection. You control the visibility of your data through the privacy settings in your account, including PIN-protected access for sensitive sections.
Other information we collect
We may collect information that cannot be readily used to identify you, such as the IP address of your computer. We may use this information, individually or in the aggregate, for technical administration of the site, research and development, and account administration.
Cookies
bghub.org uses cookies to keep you signed in and to store your preferences. If you set up your web browser so that cookies are not allowed, you might not be able to use some or all of the features of the site.
External data storage
We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
Your right to delete your data
You can delete your account and all your data from account settings.
Your privacy responsibilities
To help protect your privacy, be sure:
- to keep your Google account secure, since it is used to access bghub.org;
- to sign out of bghub.org on shared devices when you are finished;
- to take customary precautions to guard against malware, for example by installing and updating suitable anti-virus software.
Information collected from children
You must be at least 13 years old to use the bghub.org web site. bghub.org does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to change this privacy policy as needed for legal compliance or changes in how the site works. If you have provided us with an email address, we will endeavor to notify you by email of any material change to how we use personally identifiable information.
