The Pillars of the Earth

The Pillars of the Earth is a medieval worker placement game in which players compete to help construct the grand cathedral of Kingsbridge by gathering raw materials, hiring skilled craftsmen, and managing their gold. The player with the most victory points after six rounds of building wins, with tiebreaks determined by remaining gold.
