The Battle of Five Armies

The Battle of Five Armies is a two-player, asymmetrical game that recreates the epic conflict from The Hobbit, where one player maneuvers Shadow armies to conquer key points while the other defends as the Free Peoples, moving armies, rallying troops, and calling for aid. The Free Peoples win by eliminating the Shadow commander Bolg, having Beorn enter play with the Shadow player having fewer than 6 Victory Points, or advancing the Fate Track to step 15; the Shadow player wins by achieving 10 or more Victory Points at the end of a turn, or immediately if they control Front Gate with 10 Victory Points.
