Star Trek: Ascendancy is a space strategy game in which players expand their civilization by exploring a dynamically generated galaxy, researching groundbreaking technologies, negotiating trade agreements, and engaging in tactical space combat. Players win by achieving cultural ascendancy through accumulating 5 Ascendancy tokens or by military supremacy through controlling their own Home System and two rivals' Home Systems.
