Shogun is a tactical area-control game set in Sengoku-period Japan where players deploy samurai armies, tax provinces, harvest rice, and build castles, temples, and theaters. The player with the most victory points accumulated during the semi-annual winter scorings wins, with tied scores broken by total remaining war chests.
