Genotype is a worker placement and dice-drafting game where players act as 19th-century researchers at Gregor Mendel's monastery, placing action markers to modify parent genes and drafting offspring dice to validate genetic traits on pea plants. The player with the most victory points after five rounds from completed plants, phenotype research goals, leftover markers, and coins wins.
